Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust was established in 2017 to buy the building from the Church of Scotland, to restore it and to run it as a social enterprise for community use. The sale completed in February 2021, together with the purchase of the car park and the glebe.

We are now holding a service on the last Sunday of each month.
The next service will be on 31 May 2026 at 3.00pm and will be led by Rev Elizabeth Houston.

PHASE 3 Internal Renovation Works – May 2026
With the internal renovation works substantially completed and heritage displays installed we are very much open for business.
The first wedding service was held on 23rd May 2026 with 160 in attendance.
Funeral services, meetings and other functions can readily be arranged - please contact us by email in the first instance.​​

The Diary of James Dunlop 1884-1887
(Aged 14-18).
Young James was the son of the Rev James Dunlop, minister of the United Free Church of Kilmaronock. The family lived at the manse on the main street in Gartocharn. Read his diary here.
